Lucky Me

I absolutely love the Close To My Heart monthly subscription kits. I have been able to use these kits to really make a huge dent into my huge backlog of scrapbook pages that I want to do. I used the March subscription kit to scrapbook this double page layout of my adorable daughter and nieces on a family trip to Tennessee back in March of 2018.

TITLE: Lucky Me – March 18, 2018 – Belle Meade, Tennessee

Lucky Me

12×12 Double page layout with 5 photos

RECIPE:

TECHNIQUE TIP: This kit was pretty themed, however don’t ever be afraid to use a themed kit in a non-themed layout. We really don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and sometimes even forget to wear green so I didn’t have any strong holiday themed photos for this layout. I decided to take a different approach and thought about what “Lucky Me” meant to me. It means that I have a wonderful family that I enjoy spending time with and we have great adventures. Showcasing one of our adventures and all of the 5 girl cousins was a way to show how lucky I am.

JOURNALING: We spent the morning touring the Belle Meade plantation in Nashville, TN before driving to Pigeon Forge.

Here are closeups of both pages:
